Patterns is a quiet place for noticing. It is operated by Patterns Collective, LLC. By creating an account and using the app, you agree to these terms. Use it gently, and in good faith.
Patterns is a space for reflection. You bring what is on your mind; a living mirror helps you notice the patterns beneath it. It is not therapy, medical care, legal or financial advice, or a substitute for a professional. If you are in crisis or need help, please reach out to a qualified professional or your local emergency services. Nothing here is a diagnosis or a promise of any particular outcome.
You need an account to use the app. You are responsible for keeping your login safe and for what happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old. Give us accurate information, and keep it current.
You can begin free: one exploration and one reflection, no card required. To continue beyond that, a subscription is $29 per month or $290 per year. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account, and access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for.
Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change with notice; any change applies to your next renewal, not the period you are in. Except where required by law, payments already made are not refundable. If a promo code applies (for example, a free stretch of months), its terms are shown when you redeem it, and normal pricing resumes when it ends.
Your words are yours. What you write in explorations and the reflections drawn from them belong to you. By using the app, you give us only the permission we need to store, process, and show your content back to you, and to operate the service. We do not sell your content, and we do not use your private conversations to advertise to you.
Please do not misuse the app: no attempts to break, overload, or reverse engineer it; no using it to harm others or to do anything unlawful; no uploading content you have no right to share. We may pause or close an account that puts the service or other people at risk.
The reflections are generated with the help of AI and are offered as a way of seeing, not as fact or advice. They can be wrong. The app is provided “as is,” without warranties, and to the extent the law allows, Patterns Collective, LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be waived.
You can leave whenever the work is done — close your account from your settings, and your content is removed as described in the Privacy Policy. We may end or change the service, and if we retire it, we will give reasonable notice.
